To support the Birthplace of Barbecue campaign that established the SC BBQ Trail, a web series was created to highlight what makes South Carolina barbecue so special.
The series featured interviews with SC pit masters discussing family traditions, the differences between competition and restaurant barbecue, and the age-old debate about whether or not to put sauce on barbecue before it is served.
The campaign drew praise from the governor of South Carolina, the state legislature, and residents and restauranteurs alike. In addition, videos in the web series saw nearly five times the views as previous videos.
